A big thank you to Pebble Beach!
A wonderful restaurant called Pebble Beach in Barton-on-Sea has raised a terrific amount of money for the Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) through their winter months - £3,000.
A huge thank you from all at the JST goes to staff and customers for their kind support and donations. The money was raised by customers who donated £1 on their bill for 6 months. Since the Pebble Trust has been running it has raised over £70,000 for Hampshire and Dorset charities plus helping to educate children in Brazil. Every 6 months Pebble Beach chose a different charity and for the last 6 months the JST was chosen.
The JST promotes the integration of people of all physical abilities through the challenge and adventure of tall ship sailing. They are the only two tall ships in the world purpose-designed and built to enable people of all physical disabilities to sail side-by-side as equals.
