Sil-Mid Ltd has donated Movel Seizing Wire for the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s tall ship Tenacious. The wire is used as a safety precaution, to effectively 'lock’ the two parts of the ship's shackles together and ensure they do not work open.

The JST became a registered charity in 1978 and owns and operates two tall ships, Lord Nelson and Tenacious. These are the only two tall ships in the world designed and built to enable people of all physical abilities to sail side-by-side.

Tall ship sailing experiences with the JST provide everyone with the thrill and adventure of life at sea and all those who sail on the ships can be involved in almost every activity on board. They can steer the ship, set the sails and keep watch during the day and night, all regardless of their physical ability and previous sailing knowledge.
