The Jubilee Sailing Trust is sad to announce the death of one of the original Permanent Crew of STS Lord Nelson, Jamie Green.
Jamie was the Bosun of Lord Nelson from March 1986 to November 1991 and prior to that worked on Søren Larsen during the pioneering days of the JST. He was never far from tall ships, having worked as a traditional shipwright at T. Nielsen & Company in Gloucester Docks until his death on 19th August aged just 50.
Lord Nelson will fly her ensign at half mast on the 2nd September, the date of Jamie's funeral service.
