Hello from the Lord Nelson, all settled in had a lovely dinner made by cookie! Tom Lloyd has been busy on mess duty while Sarah Mason has been settling in. Very excited looking forward to starting our voyage tomorrow after lunch.Sarah and Tom Aft Port
The Permanent Crew this voyage are ..Captain John Etheridge , Mate Barry , 2nd Mate David , Lesley the Bosun , Engineers Marco and Alec. We are also welcoming Ken as a supernummary engineer this week. The fantastic cook is Will, assisted by his " ass" Peter, and we have our happy BMs Ned and Neil.
The voyage crew have nearly all gone out tonight and those onboard have got to know their way around the ship , had showers and relaxed in the bar to chat about the days ahead. We're hoping that the sun will shine , as it has today.

Sunshine to start our day. Crew are at Mate briefing , then a busy day ahead as we climb , learn the evacuation drill and we hope to leave Las Palmas at 14.00.
