After spending the morning taking pictures and climbing the mast in Dieppe, we left the port to sail for Swanage. The weather continued to be rise:
lifting our spirits and burning our skin. We rose this morning with red faces, and lead the Fore Noon watch as part of our Youth Leadership @ Sea programme. The wind picked up dramatically, tipping the ship significantly to starboard. Unfortunately, we were four miles away from land, and had to quickly furl the sails to avoid colliding with Swanage. Disaster averted, we can now look forward to a barbecue and dancing on deck this evening. A good day's work by all!
