Day 14 1st Nov
Yesterday the swell was decreasing and the sun was starting to break through the unfortunate weather we had just sailed through. Last night when going below deck it was very warm. The air-con despite the sterling efforts from our extra engineers is not fully commissioned yet, making sleeping difficult especially with the rolling and pitching due to the large swells. Today has brought intermittent sun and rain, creating an extra challenge for the people who went aloft. Spirits are mixed and excited as we near the Canaries. Current est. 136nm , so estimated arrival tomorrow afternoon.
We are all looking forward to getting on land and having some down time to recharge for the next leg.
