22:00 hrs,2/2/11.. the bar,
Lord Nelson docked in La Palma.
After a long night of sea sickness suffered by most of the crew we have made it safely to la palma. Went for a walk into the town where we ate tapas at a restaurant. We heard some spanish singing but decided on avoiding that restaurant due to being serenaded by a man with a loud voice.
I'm looking forward to a sight seeing tour of the Island tomorrow. Hopefully we wll all sleep better tonight. Last night Tom and I were on a four hour night watch twelve pm till four am what a killer, battling the elements! We braved it with our watch in the wind and rain, thank goodness there was lots of tea and biccies to hand.
