This is our second night at sea after staying in Palma to 'ring in’ the new year. We are heading towards Valencia and  had a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to the weather initially it was a bit choppy wind force 4/5 and most of our watch felt seasick. Then it was sunny and people were sunbathing on deck.



Currently it is about 3am and we have just had to hand some of the sail so that we don’t arrive at Valencia before our allotted time. It is a lovely clear night with beautiful stars and the moon shining off the dark sea. As I look out of the bridge window all I can think is this is what I came sailing for!
