Back to the ship update blog

03/03/12 - Tenacious

Dated: 05/03/2012

We Came into Marigot Bay, St. Lucia today. Our anchor was dropped just at the bay enterance giving us a dramatic view of the green mountain ahead.
Once immigration was cleared we were all ferried to shore to enjoy lunch and a swim in the ocean, it was the first time I had ever seen wheelchairs in rib boats, amazing!. A barbeque was waiting when all returned at 18.00 along with music ondeck.

This morning we weighed anchor at 10.30 and now, we are en route to the island of Dominica for a spell of shore leave. At the moment the ship is healing well to port and with 25knots of wind just forward of the beam. A perfects night sailing is in store, I'm on watch tonight at 04.00 and I'm looking forward to trying to spot some shooting stars

Bye for now
