Dominic and Donna here reporting from Forward Port watch. It is a sunny
breezy day and we're sat on the bridge watching graceful gannets looking for
lunch as they think we're a fishing vessel, who can provide them with fishy
snacks. Today David led the expedition up the main mast to retrieve the
course sail from the yard for Captain Barbara to inspect any damage and give
a demo on sail repair to our able cadets Darren, Sophie and Alana.As we
approach Ireland more sailing vessels are being spotted by the watches, we
are no longer alone! Having motored all night we are pleased to report that
we're sailing again hoping to arrive at Cobh and meet the pilot by 8.45am
tomorrow.
All on Port watch are well, looking forward to a glass of cool Guinness.
Ian says Hope Scamp is well and not barking too much,Maurice says hope Debs
had a lovely time in France and sends lots of love.Aunty Donna says Hi to
Kit and Lydia and All of the watch send our love to friends and families,
especially our mums as today is Mothering Sunday.
