We left Boulogne at 1400 having spent the last 24 hrs in the harbour. During that time we have had an excellent time and we had a very warm welcome by the people who were on the beach and in the town.
We were assisted to the berth by the French Pilots. After that every one was excited to go ashore. The first thing was the good weather. It was a nice sunny afternoon with the cool breeze. Every one got dressed up with smiles on their faces and were looking forward to going out. There was great team work. Everyone helped other team member to have an enjoyable time. Then our watch went to Restaurant where we had a very enjoyable meal.
Watch leader Dai sang some welsh songs and we were very happy. The area
where Tenacious was berthed was a very popular place for tourists and town people who were very interested to see the ship so close to the land. My trip on Tenacious has been a great experience for me and the watch team. I could say it was fantastic evening to remember.
