It's been an exciting 24 hours. Lots of wind from the south has given us good speeds of up to 9.5 knots. Occasional showers of rain haven't dampened spirits as the general morale is high; we are all enjoying the good sailing.
Voyage mileage and Bill's weight sweepstakes have started to be taken; all will be revealed before too long. Engineers and BMs have given us talks and tours on all the intricacies of the ship, from the forbidden engine rooms to the varieties of sails as well as Carol's exciting tale of her round the world race. Happy hour was missed today - much to George's disappointment.
Satellite images show more rain is on the way so better sign off.
