The last few weeks have been very busy aboard Tenacious. I joined the ship at the end of June and immediately we started day sailing from Southampton.
We enjoy 3 day sails out into the western Solent, with variable weather, changing from sunny to horizontal rain. But some good sailing. After the 3 day sails it was clean ship then embark TNS345 for a 3 day voyage sailing from Southampton and relocating to the Historical Dockyard in Portsmouth.
How lucky are we, to be berthed with HMS Victory off to the port, HMS Warrior off the bow, and HMS Illustrious off the stern. The Naval Dockyard staff have been very welcoming and helpful.
Whilst in Portsmouth we had 2 more day sails; one day of dampness and one day of glorious sunshine. Good sailing on both days.
Today it's time to welcome the voyage crew of TNS346 who join us shortly for a voyage across the channel to Brugge, then returning to Southampton.
