Here we are in Bermuda docked just beside one of the main streets of Hamilton which conveniently is just across from Flanagan's, the local Irish pub, that is closed for repairs :( Funnily enough the pub next to it, is open! We have had maintenance onboard since the 8th which finishes today. A lot of cleaning has taken place down below whilst on deck people are participating in various jobs such as sanding, varnishing, chipping rust and hanging over the side cleaning the windows, no splash has yet been heard, so they must be ok!
The work shall continue for the rest of the day and then after tot time and dinner it will be off to the Beach (the pub). I however will remain ever sensible and completely sober, this is because I am the officer on duty! Sad times. Tomorrow however.....
Barbara, the small high speed Captain shall return today (Simon is already in hiding) to take us back to the UK via Ireland (I'm working on it)
