10/07/12 - Lord Nelson

Katy's watch (FS) 09/07: We are motoring with Pelican of London abeam to port, to the start of the Tall Ships Race. We enjoyed watching the Permanent Crew do a man-overboard drill with Fred, who fortunately wasn't a real person! He happily survived his ordeal. He also survived the tapioca - an exception to Derek's otherwise fantastic food! This afternoon we are looking forward to getting some sails up and practising ship manoeuvring.
