Thursday 9th August – 4am….. Woken up for my watch at 0330 hours to take over from a very excited crew mate. This was the time of the Peresides meteor shower, so 4am on deck was the ideal time to view the stars. Several shooting stars were seen all over the sky, making getting up at that ungodly hour totally worth it! It was all topped off by seeing an amazing sunrise into a glorious day. The day was finished off with BBQ and beer on deck, in the sunshine, anchored just off the Isle of Wight, very fitting for our final day.
