Hello Alex and Jade here! Currently on the ship. So far we have had an
emergency evacuation drill, bracing, we had our equipment issued to us.
Bracing involves sweating, tailing and coiling the ropes to the change the
direction.
We are now on The Last Dog (on watch from 6pm-8pm) and can see Tenerife as
we are currently sitting on the port side of the ship, watching the sun set.
We are travelling at roughly six knots with the wind coming from the NE at
15-20 Knots at a 320 degree steering course.
It has been rather hot since we have arrived but since being out at sea we
are now feeling the wind chill. Still I am sure the weather is worse back
