After doing watch last night from 8 until 12 and feeling rather cold (even after having six layers on) nothing could d ampen my spirits. Being part of such a large ship is a wonderful experience and working as a team with the permanent crew is excellent.Ive enjoyed all the rope work and especially pleased at climbing the mast with the encouragement from Lesley and Alan. Its fun having such a mixed age range and ability that everyone can feel included in allthe activities.I would like to come on a voyage again.

And we hope that you do that! We are just alongside at Brixham…. Next to a fish market, with men rapidly sorting crab and fresh fish – hope they throw us a couple on! We sailed off anchor yesterday, and sailed through the night to arrive alongside ready for an afternoon and evening ashore. The voyage crew are glamming themselves up, and the perfumes and after shave may even overcome the fish aroma!
