Weighed anchor at 7.30am we were anchored about half way up the west coast of Jura having passed through the narrow straights between Islay and Jura the day before.
On watch from 8am to 12.30pm and at about 10.30am passed the great tidal race to the west side od Jura and Scarba the helm and sea was very lively for a while with whirl pools and eddies but the watch kept her on a perfect course (thanks Jean ) we were then in the Firth of Lorn and passed Insh Island and then motored through the Sound Of Mull heading for Tobermory enjoyable watch with spectacular scenery.
