The morning was spent in huddles as each watch assembled egg carrying missiles with great care and precision. Much excitement when a whale was sighted - we hoped for a second blow, but it was not to be. 4pm saw insightful presentations of the five eggmissiles, followed by much hurling from the fore tops and debris as the eggmissiles plummeted on the deck - two eggs survived the flight unbroken, but not for long since they were soon cracked on the heads of two unlucky sailors (names withheld to preserve dignity). The jury returned a verdict, to much applause, that the winner was B 2 Bomber (permanent crew).
