Yesterday was yet again another busy day onboard. The remaining voyage crew of 301 bid farewell to the ship and walked/wheeled down the gangway for the last time of their holiday, a sad sight. The ship was prepared and ready for our new voyage crew and ready for a transatlantic trip. There was only one thing missing, the voyage crew! They arrived promptly and were soon settled into their respective berths.
At 18.00 we had a beautiful dinner served by our new cook, Ali. During our meal some unexpected (drunk) locals came onboard and tried climbing the foremast. They were quickly removed and warned off. After our meal everyone was invited to the local mariners club where a party was thrown for the JST.
Milton and Denis from the last trip were in attendance and it was great to see them before we set sail. A delightful evening followed with a light buffet and drinks.
