Back to the ship update blog
12/12/11 - Tenacious
Last night the week was topped off by a 'vast' tapas selection at El Aguila.
We all then returned to the ship to spend our last night in Tenerife together. Up early for breakfast with the sun rising over the harbour wall in santa cruz. The final day aboard started with a thorough happy-hour down below. Smoko was served on deck to wave off the first of the voyage crew, after a great week aboard. Firstly we all would like to thank Captain "Auntie" Barbara Campbell for excellent guidance, and teaching us how to use our knees when pulling ropes. Our 2nd engineer Mick for clearing out Sally every morning before breakfast. Also we wouldn't have survived without our haute cuisine expertly served by Graham and his man-slave Will. Our 1st and 2nd mate Ali and Alex, because without them we wouldn't have a clue-line. A special thanks should also be given to Cadet Rhys for both his help in watch duty and in the engine room. And Sheppy, for tagging along. And now finally your man, Ronan "Unkie Ro" for being a great cleaner and male nurse because without him happy hour would be a shambles.
