For Valentines’ Day we didn’t get any red roses or Milk Tray but 37 Voyage Crew who have now settled into their bunks, had the briefing to keep them safe overnight and have now found either the ship’s bar or have headed out to the local hostelries! Tom, our Cadet had a delicious chocolate cake made by Will for his Birthday and has now headed into town to celebrate.
Will is leaving us tomorrow and Dave has duly taken over the Cooking duties. David has flown home but the lovely John West has joined us as 2nd Mate. Chris the Mate has turned into a computer guru, having spent 3 days fixing the ship’s ailing laptop. Captain John is continuing to ensure we all behave ourselves and Jane the Medical Purser is ensuring everyone is settling into their new home. The two Kens, our engineers, looked resplendent in their best uniforms this afternoon and Bosun’s Mates Michelle and Craig have joined the ship to play for a week!
We are all looking forward to setting sail tomorrow.
