Everyone went into the town to have their lunch and retail therapy. 4 of us stayed on board for our lunch, some stayed out for dinner at a local restaurant, a good time was had by all. Those who chose to eat on board had to prepare 2 buckets of potatoes, 5 cabbages and 30 leeks! After washing up all the crew set off to the local bars. At 10pm harbour watch started and the 2 ladies from Forward Port Watch took charge at the gangway to stop any locals trying to board. When the crew returned, each person was asked a security question which they had to answer correctly before being admitted on board..i.e how many sails are on the foremast!! Members of the permanent crew were given a piece of rope and asked to do a knot.
