14/11/12 - Lord Nelson

Dated: 15/11/2012

Day 27 14th Nov
Having anticipated another defeat in last night’s quiz, Aft Port, aka Beryl’s Blossoms, are basking in glory!
Very few ships around, only flying fish including another one on deck but he was safely returned to the sea. We are currently 85 miles east of Cape Verde (and 225 miles west of Dakar in Senegal) however the stronger than normal winds have faded although we are still sailing happily along at just over 4 knots.
There is sense of deep suspicion amongst the crew and several members have been "murdered" with a variety of unusual instruments. The captain has successfully "murdered" the mate and two members of this watch have also been killed, one with chocolate and one with an apple! The game only started at lunch and already numbers are well down. If there are no future blogs, the Lord Nelson might be more like the Marie Celeste although there should be one lonely victor!
Aft Port – Sally, Natalie, Beryl, Will, Roger, Peter & Wayman
