14/12/11 - Lord Nelson

Having left the commercial port of Leixoes yesterday we have been heading south down the Portuguese coast towards our final port, Lisbon. The grand plan when we left was to motor west in order to have a good run into Lisbon under full sail. The wind has not been favourable however and due to the deadline the delivery has taken priority. The weather is certainly getting better and the sun and warmth has brought life onto the deck and raised spirits. This afternoon's watch was very relaxing with a long range rolling swell, guitar, and sun and just being out on the water. For most there are only a few watches left before the trip ends and we all go our separate ways and towards the bustle of Christmas.
