15/07/12 - Lord Nelson

After leaving La Coruna we sailed aroumd Cape Finesterre. For smoko, cook provided a tasty cake for Andrew's birthday! We sailed on to a beautiful bay off the Spanish town of Vigo where we anchored for the night. Captain allowed swimming off the ship and about 25 crew took advantage, jumping into the bracing sea from the starboard platform. This was followed by a pre-BBQ cocktail punch prepared by the engineers. The BBQ (burgers, chicken, sausages and all the fixings) was a perfect end to another perfect day on Lord Nelson! Today, at lunchtime we sailed off the anchor and are now sailing into the Alantic at 7+ knots.
