Last night saw us at anchor off Weymouth having bid au revoir to Cherbourg in style. The anchor watch was enlivened by a gale warning but we were safely tucked in the bay and in the morning we sailed straight off the anchor and along the Jurassic coast admiring the glorious scenery, helped along by a perky west-south-westerly. Sunshine and a blue sky, fine sailing in good company....stop the clocks, we don't want to go home tomorrow!
