Even though the wind has deserted us, a strong swell remained overnight having us rolling from side to side in our bunks. With no wind forecast we are forced to continue to motor, being about due west of Gibraltar with about 480 nautical miles to go to Gran Canaria. During the morning, Phillip gave a talk on his travels to Argentina and Chile. The rest of the day was spent by all doing some maintenance on the woodwork, and some assisted by going up the rigging and removing and replacing the fore topsail.
Late afternoon had watches go into huddles to practice their performances for this evening's variety show, no doubt you will hear more about that tomorrow.
