17/01/13 - Lord Nelson

17th January 2013  Hello world :) cadet lauren is extremely happy today on watch as she has managed to finally have more then 3 hours kip. We are plodding along at 7knots, the wind is a steady force 3.The sea is a deep royal blue, the sun is shining and seb hasnt stopped polishing the brass work. This afternoon Tony will launch his 2013 collection of Haute Couture. Yes, the Lord Nelson T shirt shop!  Our cadets, known as "The Gadgets" are slaving away tapping off old paintwork. At first we voyage crew thought it was Santa's little elves making an early start for Christmas, but no it is honestt endeavour to make the Lord Nelson as pristine as she deserves. Meanwhile, the voyage crew are sharpening their wits for upconing quiz.   There is also talk of a cribbage competition; so the sound of 15-2 will ring out as loudly as 2-6!  No doubt 19 will be a popular score.
