We arrived in Cherbourg yesterday morning at about 11.00, we motored the final part of our journey and entered through the eastern approaches of Cherbourg port. After getting the ship through a very narrow lock we tied up alongside in the inner basin with many French onlookers watching from afar in amazement of our lovely ship. Lunch was served ondeck and it was delightful to eat in the sun. At 14.00 we were granted shore leave to explore this small French port, and explore we shall!!
