Forward Port has just come off the last dog watch within 30 NM of the finish line. Sean has been acting watch leader for the duration.
On track now to the line, watching for ships in the poor visibility. The fog horn has been sounding regularly and at 19:55 the ferry Oscar Wilde loomed out of the murk and back in again. Worry we not, stoked up with a fine chicken risotto and bread and butter pudding (yum!).
Guayas from Ecuador is a little ahead of us, a fishing fleet to the starboard, the watertight doors have been closed .... just in case.
