18/01/12 - Tenacious

Our own personal ocean bubble was invaded at dawn by a small white yacht.
The sight of another craft was mesmerising and it took the rest of the day for it to draw out and over the horizon behind us. The early afternoon saw squalls darkening the horizon and decorating the radar. The inevitable showers held off until mid afternoon when the scorching sunshine gave way to a diffuse and oppressive humidity pressing down from heavy skies.
