Aft Port/ The singing bunch!
Last night was an eventful one, we celebrated St Patricks day mainly due to pressure from Ronan and Donal. The surprising thing was that the English knew more Irish songs than the Irish! However after copious amounts of Guinness Nurse Ronan came out of his shell and produced some stunning versions of Christy Moore songs, this was encouraged by Captain Barry and his fiddle. Captain Barry graciously extended the bar to 10.30 which we much appreciated by all that were in attendance.
This morning all sails were again set and the iron topsails have been put back to bed. The crew have all been reminded that today is Mothers day by the MP, everyone would like to send best wishes to their Mammy's especially the glorious Phyllis Ging, Happy mothers day to all!
Currently we are sailing at 7 knots which should give us an ETA of tomorrow evening, that is of course if the wind stays in our favour.
Bye bye for now from Len, Ian, Iain, Jingles, Gary, Donal and John.
