18/10/12-Tenacious

We set sail last night at 1900,heading into high winds and making good time. The ship was interesting to walk around while rocking and rolling and seeing everyone learning to keep their balance in heavy seas. We could see land at about 0900 with the weather improving .John did a great job at the helm to get us here safe.Roll on the Guinness!
Soon we were bracing the yards stowing the sails in preparation for our arrival in Dublin By 03:00 hours we are alongside in Sir John Rogerson Quay berth 8 Dublin What a wonderful 520 miles it has been with still more excitment to come before departure day, Full marks to the galley for producing excellent food in poor conditions.
