We are alongside in La Gomera after a restful night at sea. The sailing was cracking, at times reaching 8 knots.
Breakfast was hearty with baskets of toast being demolished as soon as they hit the tables. So we were all ready for bracing the yards, with the on duty watch, whilst the other two did a rapido happy half hour to keep things sweet.
Now, once the gangway is landed we are going to comb our hair, put our lippy on and have a group photo.
From there.... we have the day free to explore and maybe taste the tapas ashore, all wearing lashings of suntan cream and raring to go!!
The LN crew
