19/06/12 - Tenacious

After a quiet night at anchor off Portsmouth Tenacious made her way up the Solent and was alongside by 9:00 am by the QE2 terminal.
The engineers had a lot of work to do on the generator so the voyage crew were given a trip to the Seacity museum recently opened in Southampton.
It proved to be a very interesting excursion as the story of the Titanic was told as only Southampton could tell.
It was interesting to read that the use of computors can create thousands upon thousands of different simulations that can be quickly and effectively assessed .It is only when all passengers are aboard and the ship at sea when a ship comes to life.
The ship takes on a distinct character,it's not something you can predict or create any other way,and so it is with Tenacious each trip is unique to the voyage crew with it's own dynamics.
