Tenacious left Poole Harbour yesterday and sailed over to Swanage Bay, where we dropped anchor and enjoyed a balmy evening, with rope and climbing training whilst others enjoyed mucking in with the mess duty preparing for dinner. Everyone proceeded with their watches overnight. Today we had an evacuation drill and a fire drill which was then followed by a team effort climbing up the rigging to untie the ropes which held the sails in place. We motored out of swanage and are now sailing towards the Needles on the Isle of Wight. Watches and more mess duty are standard part of the day! We are now enjoying a very peaceful sail across the mouth of the Solent. Lucy Aft Port
