The BBQ was a great success with music, laughter and dancing until late into the night and a few bleary eyes in the morning. Well done the cooks and permanent crew. Whilst some were washing decks, Kevin and James made assisted climbs to the first platform, well done to both. Aft Starboard were on watch as we raised the anchor at 1100, and left Playa Blanca and Lanzarote.At 1330 the main and fore topsails, t'gallants and royals were set. At 1600 ten volunteers went out onto the main course yard to harbour stow the sail, I learned a lot from Keith ( Lash ) about the technique of working at the clew end.
