Great excitement yesterday an eclipse of the moon in the early morning! We were concerned that cloud cover would obscure the event. However we were very lucky; several folks turned out to witness a very special occasion between 04:20 and 05:30. During the night-watch we spotted a yacht and spoke to them on the radio; they were also headed to Antigua and we hope to see them there. Notable other events include seeing more-and-more flying fish and even a turtle swimming casually by.
This morning Tim gave us a very interesting insight into life afloat in a houseboat during his morning talk and several of us now fancy the idea of a life afloat. As a side-line, the Leadership at Sea members transversed a bucket of water from one end of the vessel to the other - but the hard way; taking a route from the focsle over the rigging and into the charthouse most successfully.
We are in the middle of a Scottish themed food day.
