A day of squalls and sun following a brilliant sail from Dominica. En route we were passed by the Maltese Falcon, a high-tech square rig three masted ship, 88m long. Today's squalls did not deter the swimming from the ship while anchored at Terre-De-Haut, Les Saintes, nor the evening Barbeque onboard Tenacious. We started with a fine range of hors d'oeuvres on deck. We then found that the British BBQ weather travels well as the heavens opened just as all the barbequed food was ready. The engineers were undeterred and remained "soggily" at their post at the BBQ grill. A few brave souls, those most fond of their food, made a dash for the food and returned with plates piled high with food and swimming in water.
Keith won the spontaneous wet T-shirt competition.
Tomorrow we embark on a day ashore exploring the delights (particularly bars and restaurants) of Terre-De-Haut.
Signing off,
