We woke to a lovely fine morning with clear blue skies and a very welcome
warm sun.
After breakfast and the usual briefings people started to find space to sit
on the starboard side to make the most of the sun's rays
Once smoko was over the permanent crew did a fire drill which meant spraying
alot of water on the deck above where everyone was sitting so they scattered
to the dryer parts of the ship
The engineers have been busy today clearing below deck with the result the
ship smells sweet again!
At present the weather seems to be closing in,the clouds are covering the
sun and the temperature is dropping.
The forecast says it might blow so we may be in for a rough night but we
should reach Sardinia tomorrow so we may be alongside.
Ian V just came up on the bridge after finishing mess duty and said it's too
windy up here and quickly went back down again
