AS WATCH 1800-2000 last dog
This is our second watch of the day. it started off yesterday at 0400-0800 with some of our members hanging over the edge of the boat being held onto whilst they got rid of dinner. Despite the anti-social hours, we managed to get most of us involved. one of the marines had damaged his hand and his ankle and so the medic, Mark, did wonders so that he could carry on but two members did have to leave early because of their sea-sickness. After a pretty relaxed day compared to yesterday with only one sail change, we took on our second shift at 1800. it was only a two hour watch but it was shift run by one of the "youth leaders" who had everyone involved in helming, half way through the captain briefed us all on our speedy progress and the whereabouts of the other ships in the tall ships race.
