Hello....WELL what an amazing experience! I am here as part of the GB Wheelchair Rugby Team.Sailing on Tenacious is a life changing experience. We are now on watch from 8pm until Midnight. We are sailing towards Jersey. It has been an eventful day...we did not make it out of Southampton yesterday but with an early start we set sail at just before 7am.The weather has been a challenge for some with a few crew members feeling unwell! The sun is now beginning to set and the scene is amazing. At 9pm we will be handing the sails and continuing to sail under engines as the wind directions will not allow us to continue under sail. Being part of the crew is something I never thought I would experience but everyone is included on board and encouraged to join in and get involved. The food is really good and as many of the team require....free flowing tea and coffee! France is just ahead and we will be heading for arrival in Jersey in the morning.
