It's Christmas Eve and Tenacious and her crew are well on their way to the Caribbean. The winds have picked up and we are making good time with most sails set and doing their job well. The swell has increased dramatically after many days of calmer waters. Whilst most people are able to get relief from the sea breeze, Graham and Jane are working tirelessly in the heat of the galley to keep us fed in style over Christmas.
More whales were spotted earlier today and Ali did a talk on tropical storms which was well received by all. Tonight a moon & starlit carol service will be held on deck and the Aft Port Watch will be seeing in Christmas Day 2010 on watch from 24:00 hours until 04:00.
Wishing all a Merry Christmas.
