Maintenance once again! With a total crew of 20 onboard, a lot of work has been completed, including repainting the starboard side of the ship. If you remember from the previous maintenance we painted the port side, so the ship is now looking very sexy indeed!
Both wheelchair lifts have now been chipped, sanded and painted; more appreciated work from our dedicated maintainers. The work carried out onboard has been done beneath the glorious sun that appears to be constantly shining, here in the Caribbean.
On Thursday last, Graham, Lucilla, Marianne and I went to do some shopping for the next voyage. We managed to bring the whole of the shopping centre to a stand still whilst we checked through nine full trolley's of food. The face on the checkout person was priceless whilst we tried to communicate in broken French that, yes, this is all ours!
Ship stocked, it was then time for a half day. A 9 seater rental van was acquired and I was to be the driver. A posy was gathered and a pleasant day was had by all, visiting the botanical gardens and two rum factories.
At the moment we have crewed up once more, and are bound for Antigua, via a couple of nice anchorages for some snorkelling and maybe a BBQ!
It wont be long until we see our good friends Anthea and Les for a tot, looking forward to see you both, regards from all onboard.
That's all for now.
