26/02/12 - Tenacious

After a fantastic breakfast the first duty of the day was to take the doti boat to a remote island ( Pigeon Island) for snorkelling and swimming led by the Capt Barbara. Everybody was amazed at the abundance of marine life and the fantastic array of colours. Next highlight of the day was to make her spick and span ready for the Antigua via Port St Louise -sounds grand well it is and guess what a BBQ on board tonight with the trimmings. MVB has finishing off the foretop mast staysail and the other half has been doing welding. We passed Eye Of The Wind which is owned by a Danish firm. We are looking forward to arriving tomorrow in Antigua and a well deserved swim on pigeon beach. Whales have also been spotted throughout the day, an amazing sight!
