27/01/13 - Lord Nelson

The sun and hot weather has appeared to find us again! It's a hot one here in the middle of the Atlantic! A great chance for everyone to top up on the tans whilst helping out sanding and painting!







There appears to be a stalker of the Lord Nelson in the form of a 7ft Royal Albatross that has been following us for most of the day now! Think he might be hoping for some tasty slops from the galley....wings crossed!











Last night we celebrated in style as we toasted the lasses and replied in traditional form! With wonderful decor organised by Graham and Liz, which consisted of Tartan bed sheet hangings.







The fellow crew dress themselves up in Lord Nelson Tartan.....well they use the curtains from their bunks as kilts, but still a good touch!







Laird Dominic toasted us all in traditional Burns style and The true Scot Kirsten, bosons' mate, gave a reply! The Haggis was enjoyed by all!











Tonight see's our Young Cates turn, when we help her celebrate Australia day! In true aussie style we all look forward to a scrummy shrimp, or bay bugs as they may otherwise be know!







Two more of our crew have been murdered in the murder game!







And lastly we are now under 1000 miles till land! Some are already talking about what they plan to eat when they get home! Others are looking forward to seeing their families and some are going on other adventures when we land in Cape town!
