28/01/13 - Lord Nelson

Dated: 28/01/2013

Weather is still getting warmer and we have no favourable wind.  At 8:15 last  night we crossed the Greenwich meridian and were now in the easten hemisphere and on-route to Cape Town.   The southen atlantic is flat calm making whale spotting simple.  Plently of Albatrosses following us and picking of the catch from the fishing lines :( Varnishing and deck painting continues perparing us for our arrivel in cape town.  Our current headding is 110 degrees and undergoing 7.0 knots.  Onboard our hearts bleed for the folk at home who are snowed in as we are in 30 degrees of calm seas and blue skys.  Last night brought another beautiful sunset, followed by a great full moon.  Spirits are high due to the fresh beef pie for dinner.

Foward Starboard Will, John, Andy and steve.
