28/07/12 - Lord Nelson

After everyone waking up feeling tired and a little sorry for themselves, we had a late bacon buttie breakfast. As we have finished our sailing voyage now, we said goodbye to some now close friends and special VC. The boat was then open for the public to view so that they could look around the boat and see what she has to offer with lots of eager potential future VCs. Once we'd cleared the boat it was then time to get the fancy dress on. It was the Cadiz parade with all the boats offering a huge amount of different costumes. The Lord Nelson definitely had a wide range of costumes including some interesting feminine choices from the boys. It was great to walk through the town and to meet the other boats crews. Then finally to finish a wonderful day, the crew set off to the Crew Party for a cracking time of dancing to flamenco and all sorts. With the younger VCs making sure that everyone was getting involved and dragging them in to the middle of the dancefloor for a whole crew dance and last bond.
